Gmc Sierra Rear Door Lock Problems

My 14 has the same issue on the rear drivers side door.

Rip off the door panels and check it out. Cable for connection to interior door handle was much shorter than stock. 09 gmc slt dually. The problem switched from the back door locks not working to the front not working.

That door lock piece in the door is just a plastic piece that pops in the door panel and there s a rod that goes back and forth attached to that piece to lock unlock. There were a few small problems.
