Remove tough stains clean tough stains off with a nonabrasive cleaner or a homemade vinyl siding cleaner of soap and water that won t damage the surface of the vinyl. Rinse the solution off of the vinyl starting from the top so the water will run downward. Spray with clean water. Dip the scrub brush into the bucket of bleach solution and scrub the stained areas gently.

For a stronger solution mix together one third cup powdered laundry. Peroxide hydrogen peroxide has also been said to work especially at higher strengths. Moisten the area with water and then scrub it using the cleaning solution. Start at the bottom of the stain and work your way to the top.

Fill a bucket with hot water and either add the cleaner to it or have it ready to go. 70 water 30 white vinegar makes a great all purpose vinyl siding cleaner that removes light mold and mildew stains. Pour whatever solution remains in the sprayer back in the bucket. If the area still appears stained spray it again and wait a few minutes before scrubbing.

Wipe the area down again with a rag dipped into a bucket of clean water. Oxygen bleach may remove both oil and water based stain. Try several different cleaners to find which one works best on the particular stain for your siding.
